Two kinds of connection between notes, drawn differently on purpose.

- **A link I wrote** (a note name in double square brackets) is a solid vine with leaves. A solid line means I connected the ideas.
- **An automatic relation** is a dotted runner. Two notes are “related by wording” only if they share a topic, share at least 3 meaningful words, and each has 25 or more words.

The rule is strict because wording can’t tell meanings apart. Before it, a song lyric and a server note were “related” because both said “system”.

Vines grow rather than run: each bows and wanders with leaves and a tendril, random but the same on every visit. On the Garden page they pass behind cards, so they never cross text.

If two notes keep getting related wrongly, `not_related:` in either one keeps them apart. Relations by meaning, judged by AI, are on the list. See Dungeon’s Known Limits.
